On Saturday, October 18, Jumbo Plumbing brought the community together for an action-packed afternoon at Adrenaline Paintball, hosting the first-ever Plumbers Paintball Challenge in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas-Elgin.
The event welcomed local plumbers and community supporters for a thrilling day of team-based paintball battles, laughter, and camaraderie all for a great cause. With paintballs flying and spirits high, participants helped raise over $970 to support youth mentoring programs in our region.
We’re incredibly grateful to Jumbo Plumbing for organizing such a fun and meaningful event. Every dollar raised helps us create and sustain life-changing mentoring relationships for local youth, and the impact of spreading awareness of our organization and the growing need for mentors is invaluable to us and our kids. Through both one-to-one and group mentoring relationships, BBBS provides young people with the guidance, support, and resources they need to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. Shedding light on the need for volunteers is an important first step on the journey to making a meaningful difference in our community.
