This past July, Geerlinks Home Hardware and Port Stanley Home Hardware once again showed their incredible commitment to the community—and to the kids served by Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Thomas-Elgin.
For the entire month, both stores collected donations at the till, raising an amazing $1,272.31 thanks to the generosity of their customers. Geerlinks also hosted a lively Kid’s Day, where families lined up at the BBBS booth to “Fish for Squish,” reeling in prizes and raising an additional $835.00.
That’s a total of $2,107.31—funds that give BBBS the ability to create and support both one-to-one mentoring relationships and group programs that help local youth build confidence, learn new skills, and realize their full potential.
