Kara and Sarah have been matched for three years and this past year has been the best one yet. It is always exciting to see our young people engaging more with their mentors, growing in their abilities, and becoming more confident. We all want to make a positive difference in a young person’s life but sometimes we don’t see the changes because we are thinking too big. A smile, the texts from the youth to the mentor, a laugh, and more conversations are the little things that we over look sometimes but are huge for the mentee. We are #BiggerTogether!
